Avyance Receives SBA Certification as an Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB)
GREAT FALLS, VIRGINIA – December 15, 2017 – Avyance is proud to announce that it has received certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as an Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). Avyance earned this certification after completing a rigorous application and meeting all requirements for entering this distinguished program.
According to the SBA, the program is designed to help women-owned small businesses win federal contracts by leveling the playing field. Further, the SBA works with federal agencies to help them meet their contracting goals for women-owned small business set-asides.
“This is an exciting opportunity for Avyance,” said CEO Sarah Franchak. “This program presents a win-win for the federal government and small businesses like ours. Our clients will continue to get the same great service they’ve grown to expect from us, and we will help their agencies meet their goals for supporting disadvantaged businesses. We get a boost and so do the agencies we support.”
Avyance delivers business transformation, strategic planning, strategic communications, and project management support to the transportation, aviation, information technology, and non-profit industries. The company is dedicated to helping its clients navigate their toughest organizational and programmatic challenges from strategy development through successful implementation.
